Beginning the Marathon Warm Up Series

Well this weekend I ran the first of 3 races prior to the Chevron Houston Marathon in January. I ran the Koala Health & Wellness - Luke's Locker Houston 1/2 Marathon & Relay.

Race Recap: This was one whole loop. The first time that they had done that since the inception of of the "Houston Half."  I enjoyed this race and it taught me alot about who I am as a runner. I'm pretty sore right now even 2 days after the race, but I'm hoping to bounce back this weekend during my weekend run to set me up on for the 2nd leg of the Marathon Warm Up Series on November 14, 2010.

This is me with my medal for finishing. We literally got them as we crossed the finish line.
