So there is this tumblr website that Corrie and I have seen alot on Pinterest called "Hey Girl." You can find it here.
They are pretty teacher specific, but of course that's fine for us. I turned around this morning after breakfast and made this one for her.

February 2012
Cullen is a huge fan of videos that mention him (vain, i know.) But I really think it helps him remember and know, long for, and care about his family members. Corrie asked me to start creating a video each month of pictures that I had taken on my iPHone that could be put together for a video for him on both of our iPhones. This video was my February 2012 creation.
Enjoy!

Apps I Like : Evernote Food
Evernote Food
Why I like: I have been a long fan of Evernote and how easy they make it to create note to remind yourself of something that you are most likely to forget. My wife and I love to eat out different places but always seem to not be able to recall restaurants when we are going through the carousel of ones we might want to go eat at. What I like about Evernote Food is that when you make an entry into the app you name the food, can geotag the name of the place*, take pictures of the food, and then tag it by type of food for the next time your at a similar place.
Rating: 4.0 / 5.0. The version 1.0 app is great as are most of Evernote's products, however it does seem to lack a few small tweaks. Have a cost category either by price or by $$$ signs would be a great add as well as a map of the places eaten within the app. It is currently by the way only available on iOS, although they promise an Android version here soon.
* I presume since the places will auto-populate for you to pick that they are scraping their info from FourSquare.

Bulls on Parade
| The Texans have secured their first playoff victory in franchise history |
Thoughts from the game:
-Andre Johnson got the TD that basically sealed the win for the Texans. It was great to see one of the most classiest players in the franchises history get a TD after having battled all season to be on the field. He deserved it.
-Arian Foster is a beast, and a stately gentleman. If you didn't catch his first quarter Touchdown celebration he ran to the middle of the endzone and did Hakeem Olajuwon signature "Dream Shake" as a touchdown celebration to pay homage to Houston sports history and to thank the city. He then later on when Andre got his TD went over and did his Namaste bow to Andre as way of showing respect. It was classy old school versus new school.
-J.J. Watt is everything he was advertised, and more. He played like most veterans dream of playing in Indy 2 weeks ago, but stepped it up even more this year. The presence of mind to throw your hands up in the air to bat a ball amazes me. However, he has the forethought to catch the pass he's about to bat away and run into the endzone. That was the emotional momentum swinger in my opinion of that game. I had a good feeling that we were going to win that game after that.
Cleaning up the blogs...5 to 1
Over the past couple of years I have spent time creating various different blogs to chronicle my life within several different areas that I'm passionate about. That has made at a point where I am spreading myself out and not getting to write about consciously about anything. So, I have decided to export all my stuff out of three of my biggest blogs that I had worked on into the first blogger blog I signed up for years ago. I named it "Jack of all trades, master of none" mainly because I liked that phrase. Now that I think about it is pretty much encumber some of who I am. I am a runner, a financial planner, a cupcake connoisseur and a deacon at my church, but I'm not super amazing or great at any of those things despite my deep interest in them all.
That all being said, here are my prior blogs that I've imported into this one:
