If anyone really knows me, you know that I'm a technology dweeb. I'm an iPhone carrying fool whose totes around his technology and knowledge of it like he's a little pompous. However, in becoming a "runner" I have found a new set of gadgets that I own or get to experience in the whole running process.
My Watch:
Garmin Forerunner 305
I love this watch, it's seriously amazing. I would be a bumbling idiot moving around if I didn't have this watch. I know my precise time and can see my pace while I'm running. Also my post race analytics let me know how to run better next time I'm out. Bar none, if you become a runner, buy one of these!
My iPod:
iPod nano 3G
I know a lot of you are like "You have an iPhone!" I'm scared to death that I will violate the AppleCare Protection Plan if I get water inside the phone from my profuse sweating. However, I do use the iPhone only on special runs, such as this Sunday. More on how to support me using that later on!
The Chip
Bib Chip
This is one of those things that I still kind of find interesting is the bib chip. I'm not entirely sure what this weekends race will use. I'll find out on Saturday when I go downtown to the EXPO to pick up my packet. However the timing, which is important to runners, works like a charm.
